Jennifer + Phillip | Houston Backyard Wedding

When Phillip first laid eyes on Jennifer, He had no idea that a beautiful adventure that was about to begin. They met through mutual friends, then began to feel a connection and just knew that this was it. After a couple of years long distance they were finally both in Los Angeles living the dream with their English Bulldog, Meatball. And on a radiant October day, their family and friends gathered in front of the camera of this thrilled Houston photographer to celebrate the moment they finally said, "I do."

The morning was all celebration and laughter. Decked out in floral robes, the bride and her bridesmaids Jennifer surprised all of the girls with new Kendra Scott necklaces to wear at the wedding! Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen spent their morning getting dressed to the nines and having some beers (as groomsmen typically do). And when the last boutonnière was pinned and the last curl was hair-sprayed, the time had arrived to head outside. Escorted by her mom down the aisle of this stunning Houston backyard, Jennifer, in her classic Lillian West gown, absolutely glowed. And her groom overtaken by emotion as he saw her walking to say I do.

Under the expert guidance of the wedding coordinator Emily Copeland, the talented vendors painted an elegant scene. The yard draping with flowers from Maxit Flower Design set the perfect scene for Amp'd Quartet to play as Jennifer walked to meet Philip down the aisle. Their vows brought tears to the guest’s eyes and they spoke about thier lives together and what having the other in their lives meant to them.

The festivities carried on well into the night. The toasts from the maid of honor and best man were nothing short of heart warming. They danced, they ate and celebrated their love with the ones who loved them the most.

As the party came to a close, the crowd cheered and sent Jennifer and Phillip off with sparklers and a classic car. Surrounded by friends and family, their life together as husband and wife began. I am so thrilled I was able to document Jennifer and Phillip's big day, and I can't wait to see where life takes them! Check out some of the photos from their breathtaking Houston Backyard wedding, and let me know which ones you love best in the comments!
