The Vier Family | At Home In O'ahu, Hawaii

Words cannot even begin to describe what it feels like to be able to do what I love and share a morning with fun clients like the Vier Family. This does not even feel like work.

I think that there is a lot to be said about simplicity. Which is why I gravitate toward this style of photography. No fussy or stiff posing. No worrying about new outfits or the kids getting them dirty before the session. They are real. The kids are misbehaving, there are toys on the floor and real-life chaos is present. Yet, still so simple.

These are the times that we all want to remember fifty years from now when the chaos has all but disappeared.

“I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string.”
― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Avonlea
